Terms of Service

By using David's Sling — the website, web application, APIs and any associated tools (the “Service”) provided by David's Sling (“David's Sling”, “we”, “our” or “us”) — you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”).

If you are using the Service on behalf of a company or other entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms; “you” then refers to the entity and its users. If you do not agree with these Terms, you may not use the Service.

Violation of these Terms may result in the termination of your account. You use the Service at your own risk.

1. Account terms

• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
• You must be a human; automated account creation or use (“bots”) is not permitted.
• You must provide accurate information — your name, a valid e-mail address and anything else required to register — and keep it current.
• An account is for one person. Workspaces may have several members, each with their own account; sharing a login is not permitted.
• You are responsible for the confidentiality of your credentials and for everything done under your account.
• You may not use the Service for any unlawful or unauthorised purpose, and you must comply with all laws that apply to your use of it.
• David's Sling may suspend or terminate your access at any time, including for a breach of these Terms.

2. Payment, billing and cancellation

• A valid payment method is required for paid plans. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store card numbers.
• Every plan begins with a free trial of the stated length. The first charge is taken when the trial ends unless you cancel before then.
• Plans are billed monthly in advance and are non-refundable, including for partial months, downgrades or unused time. Changing plan mid-cycle is prorated by Stripe on the next invoice.
• Taxes, levies and duties, other than those on David's Sling's income, are your responsibility.
• Cancellation stops future billing; access continues to the end of the period already paid for. We do not refund the remainder of a billing cycle.
• An account terminated for a breach of these Terms is not entitled to a refund.

3. Use limitations

• You may not download or store data from the Service in volumes that amount to a substantial part of our database, even manually.
• You may not scrape, crawl or otherwise extract content from the Service with automated tools, except through interfaces we provide for that purpose.
• The Service is for your own or your organisation's internal use. Reselling or redistributing its content is prohibited.
• You may not reverse-engineer, decompile or disassemble any part of the Service.

4. Changes to the Service

We may change, add to or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. Where a change materially reduces what a paid plan includes, we will tell you in advance.

5. Intellectual property

• The design, structure, interface and code of the Service are the property of David's Sling and protected by law.
• You may not copy, reproduce or exploit any part of the Service without written permission.
• You may not imply a relationship or partnership with David's Sling that does not exist.
• Content you upload — deal documents, notes, contacts — remains yours. You grant us the licence needed to store, process and display it to you and your workspace.

6. Third-party data and integrations

• David's Sling is not affiliated with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Nasdaq, or any government agency or exchange.
• Market, filing and share data comes from third-party sources, including EDGAR, Nasdaq and market-data vendors. We do not guarantee its accuracy, completeness or timeliness.
• Summaries and scores produced by the Service, including those generated with AI, are aids to your own analysis and can be wrong. They are not investment, legal or tax advice.

7. Limitation of liability

You agree that David's Sling is not liable for:

• any loss or damage, direct or indirect, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service;
• inaccuracies, errors or delays in SEC filings, exchange notices or company data;
• any third-party service linked from the Service.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

8. Termination

• You may cancel at any time from Settings → Billing.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts, with or without cause and without prior notice.
• On termination your access ends and your data may be deleted or archived after a reasonable period.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

10. Trademarks

The David's Sling and David's Sling names, logos and brand assets belong to David's Sling. You may not use them without express written permission, and never in a misleading, derogatory or competitive context.
